Slaves to the Worm God: First Draft Complete!

So, I've finished the first draft of my next novel, Slaves to the Worm God. It's a mix of Mad Max, Dune, D&D Spelljammer, fantasy anime, and John Carter of Mars. I'm really happy with how it's turned out so far and I can't wait to get this book in front of readers.

Our crew travels to the remote shardworld of Zargedon in search of one of Soraya's gems, when they get sucked into a wider conflict between a sexy, evil sorceress and her dreadworm minions, plus there's a cute tsundere half-dragon princess, a crew of Scourge space pirates chasing them with the aid of horrific dullahan hunter, and so many kobolds.

In addition to upping the intensity of the action, I added a lot more comedy, and I managed to tie a whole bunch of different plot threads together by the end. This book is longer than my first one, currently at 215K words, and I have a lot of editing to do, plus I have to wait a few weeks for the artist to finish the cover illustrations.

I'll post again when I have more to share.
